Safe-to-visit

We are part of the Safe-to-Visit programme, the COVID-19 guidance prepared by our trade association HORESTA, which means all staff have been trained in compliance with current guidelines.

COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic means this year’s activities will all be subject to special restrictions in accordance with governmental and health authority recommendations and guidelines, which are intended to ensure that guests and staff feel safe at Dronningens Ferieby.

Check-in information

As an extra initiative to minimise the risk of infection spreading, chalet information will be e-mailed to guests before arrival. Accordingly, guests can check in directly to their holiday chalet, and do not need to check out on departure – we will forward a statement of electricity and heating consumption by e-mail after departure.

Stay at home if you have symptoms

We all have a huge responsibility to help prevent the COVID-19 infection from spreading and to follow health authority recommendations. You should therefore stay at home if you show typical symptoms of COVID-19 infection – sore throat, general discomfort, muscle pain and possibly a dry cough and high temperature. You should stay at home for at least 48 hours after your symptoms have cleared up.

If you develop COVID-19 symptoms during your stay, you should stay in your holiday chalet and contact your own GP or the on-duty doctor as well as our reception to decide what to do regarding the remainder of your stay and departure, to minimise the risk of infection.

We encourage all guests to keep a safe distance and show due consideration for others.

The chalets

  • Our chalets are cleaned in compliance with all the guidelines, and as a further precautionary measure, they will all be disinfected with a special fluid to ensure there is no danger of infection when guests check in.
  • Staff have been instructed in advanced cleaning routines for particularly critical areas.
  • Any daily living aids will be placed in the chalets and disinfected before guests arrive.

Common areas

  • The common area is cleaned once daily.
  • Distance markers have been installed in the communal building
  • We have placed hand sanitisers at various locations in the communal building and toilets.
